Update 6/10/04

Thanks to the ever amazing Jrg, I now have the source for the LAME DirectShow interface. So I'll eventually make it so you can customize the audio. I've been way too busy to start yet though. Give it a couple weeks.

Next Release - Planned Features - Update 5/10/04

To be honest, I don't think there's going to be another release. Unless I can figure out the LAME interface so audio encoding can be customized, the DirectShow filter is updated, or any bugs are found, this is it. Realistically, there isn't much I can think of to add that's more than unnecessary crap. Yep.

Release 1.0.1 - 5/1/04

--Nothing much, just a few minor bug fixes:
------Drag/Drop fixed. It crashed, now it doesn't. I hope.
------Current conversion information wasn't being updated. I'm an idiot.
------Fixed a couple logic errors...that's all that needs to be said.
--Made some of the error messages clearer.
--.asf and .wmv videos now show up under the browse by default.

Note: Speaking of .asf and .wmv...they might work, which is why I added them. They're such weird formats though that they might not. If they don't, they might end up just playing. Another thing...ASF files can contain script commands...which is why sometimes when you're watching them websites pop up. Well, I remove the script renderer before converting the file...so that shouldn't happen. Problem is, I can't find a sample of an .asf file to test it on. So I have no clue as to whether it actually removes it or not. If you do come across a small one, let me know, I'll love you forever. On a side note(ok, a large side note), certain videos crash the converter. A couple ASF files crashed it. Not sure why or how, but they do. I tested maybe 5, and 2 crashed it. So...yeah. I would like to have it crash more gracefully, but it's not in my source, so I can't. Really you have no need for ASF files anyway, they're the devil's handiwork.

Release 1.0.0 - 4/17/04

--Not much to say. This should be the first stable release...I've done a bunch of testing and it's worked fine for me. The only problem I see is the progress bar, and I really can't figure that out. I think it might be the filter...in any case, it's set up to query total time and progress as the current time goes up. The problem is that the conversion is done way before current time equals total time...strange.
